About this course:
Dean Wood Golf Club is a parkland 18-hole course in Lancashire, designed by James Braid. It spans over 6,000 yards with two distinct halves: the first nine holes north of the clubhouse in tree-lined parkland offer a calm start, while the original back nine demand precision and good shotmaking. Sloping fairways and small, undulating greens create a challenging character, with lovely views over West Lancashire. Dean Wood combines accessibility with technical demands, emphasizing accuracy and control over length. The club is known for its welcoming atmosphere for members, visitors, and guests.
