About this course:
Comrie Golf Course, part of Comrie Golf Club in Perthshire, is a 9-hole course in a classic James Braid design that fully utilizes the natural topography of the Laggan Braes. No two holes are the same: the course features varied character with well-shaped, sometimes elevated greens and deep bunkers that challenge your game without being overly punishing. You play among birch, pine, and larch trees, with beautiful views over the village and surrounding hills. The round has a calm, walking pace and offers enough variety to keep both your approach and putting game sharp. There are tees for different levels, with more challenging carries from the Blue medal tees and forward tees on holes 3, 5, and 7. The club has a long history dating back to 1891, with recommendations from James Braid in the 1920s and a clubhouse opened in 1902 and renovated in 2003.
