About this course:
Burton-on-Trent Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Derbyshire, set in 150 acres of wooded countryside near Bretby. Redesigned and improved by Harry Colt in 1914, it offers a serious but enjoyable challenge, with well-kept fairways, fast multi-tiered greens, and a layout that asks for both accuracy and strategy. The course features notable long par 3s and par 4s, as well as strong par 5s, making every round a demanding test of skill.
One of the standout holes is the Augusta-style 18th, with water in front of the green and views back to the clubhouse. Founded in 1894, the club also hosts the Brabazon Trophy Midlands qualifier and is recognised as an England Golf Championship Venue for top amateurs.
