About this course:
Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 course in west Dorset. It blends links character with cliff-top terrain along Chesil Beach on the Jurassic Coast. Fairways offer wide views of Lyme Bay, Portland Bill, and Hardy countryside to the north. Wind often influences play, making each round unique and challenging. The course features hills, valleys, and notable hazards with varied play. The 6th hole, a 129-yard par 3, is a highlight with a dramatic downhill to a bunker-surrounded green. Founded in 1891, it's Dorset's oldest club; moved east in 1911 and expanded to 18 holes in 1921.
