About this course:
Aldeburgh Golf Course offers a varied experience with a challenging 18-hole Championship Course and a compact 9-hole River Course. The Championship Course, par 70 for men and par 74 for women, is on sandy heathland with a links-style character requiring accuracy and smart choices. Redesigned by Mackenzie & Ebert, it features views of the Alde River, iconic clubhouse, and sea. The 9-hole River Course suits all levels, overlooking the Alde's bend and marshes. Established in 1884, Aldeburgh Golf Club has a tradition of equal membership and playing rights for women. The 1911 clubhouse is prominent near the first nine holes. Facilities include a pro shop with coaching, club fitting, and repairs. The course hosted the 2003 English Ladies Championship and the Ladies Open “Aldeburgh Spoon.”
