About this course:
Whipsnade Park Golf Club is an 18-hole par 73 course in the Chiltern Hills, about 700 feet above sea level. This mature parkland course spans over 150 acres and borders ZSL Whipsnade Zoo on two sides. Despite the elevation changes, the course is gently undulating and pleasant to walk, with length and smart design providing a real challenge for golfers of all levels. From the fairways, there are expansive views over Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. Founded in 1974, the club gained its distinct parkland character through the planting of tens of thousands of trees between 1979 and 1984. The clubhouse is housed in a restored 1850 farmhouse with original flint walls and oak beams, complementing the historic feel of the course.
