About this course:
West Kent Golf Club is an established private club founded in 1916, located in a rural setting between Downe Village and Down House. The 18-hole course at Downe, designed by W H Fowler and J F Abercrombie, combines woodland, downland, and parkland holes with rolling fairways and natural elevation changes. At 6427 yards, it offers a challenging yet varied round for different skill levels. For ladies, West Kent is the longest ladies' course in Kent, just under 6000 yards. Recent investments, including a modern irrigation system, new paths, and green improvements, have enhanced the course. The club also features a Professional Shop, PGA professionals, club fitting, and a teaching studio to help golfers improve their game.
