About this course:
Wellow Golf Club is a 27-hole parkland course with three 9-hole loops: Ryedown, Embley, and Blackwater. Set on over 200 acres around the former Embley Park House, it was designed by Wilf Wiltshire. Since 1991, the club offers varied rounds, each loop with its own character. Ryedown features tree-lined fairways and doglegs requiring precise tee shots; Embley emphasizes length and accuracy on the second shot; Blackwater runs along the Blackwater River with long US Open-style rough punishing mistakes. The club also has a single-level clubhouse with bar and restaurant, plus excellent practice facilities including two covered bays, a putting green, a full-length driving range, and areas for pitching, chipping, and bunker play.
