Wallasey Golf Club, founded in 1891, is a characterful classic English links where wind and coastal surroundings clearly influence play. The course was originally designed by Tom Morris Sr. of St Andrews and later refined by Alex 'Sandy' Herd, Harold Hilton, and James Braid. The club qualified four times as a qualifying course for The Open Championship and remains an attractive tournament venue today.
