About this course:
Torwoodlee Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland course in the Scottish Borders, just outside Galashiels. The course lies in a valley among mature trees, with the River Gala running alongside and the Borders Waverley Railway crossing the layout. This creates a varied round, from gently rising holes along the water to a hillier section on the other side of the railway. Featuring a parkland layout, several challenging holes, double greens, and a par of 69/72, Torwoodlee demands precision and steady play. The club has existed for over 100 years, evolving from the original 9-hole design to a full 18-hole course on higher ground to the south.
