The Essex Golf Academy

About this course:

The Essex Golf Academy, part of The Essex Golf & Country Club, focuses on progress, practice, and guidance. Around the driving range are 20 covered, lit bays, plus outdoor and grass bays and two teaching areas. There is also an indoor swing studio with video analysis, a short game area, chipping green, practice bunker, and pitching area for targeted training. For precise feedback, the academy uses TrackMan with real-time data on club, ball flight, and landing. The putting and full-swing platforms feature digitally adjustable Zen Green Stage to work on balance and ball position. Three PGA professionals provide coaching in a relaxed, social setting, from one-to-one lessons to group sessions for seniors, ladies, and juniors, including club repair in their own workshop.
