About this course:
South Winchester Golf Club is set in Hampshire countryside, featuring an 18-hole links-style course designed by former Ryder Cup captain Dave Thomas. Built on free-draining chalk with sand-based greens and tees, it offers year-round playability. Seven scenic lakes and strategic hazards add dynamic challenges, while five teeing areas suit all skill levels. The course plays in two loops of nine holes returning to the clubhouse. Notable holes include the 9th, a 410-yard par 4 with a lake on the right, and the spectacular 15th, a 429-yard par 4 requiring a tee shot over water. The hunting lodge-style clubhouse provides a relaxed spot post-round, with a terrace overlooking the lake and 18th green.
