Salobre Golf Resort Gran Canaria in Maspalomas is a golf destination shaped by volcanic terrain and the calm surroundings of the area. The resort offers 36 holes across two courses: the Old Course, an 18-hole par 71, and the New Course, an 18-hole par 70. Designed to blend naturally with the landscape, the Old Course plays with wide fairways and smaller greens, while the New Course winds through volcanic ravines and asks for precision and adaptability. The Old Course was inaugurated in 1999 and designed by Roland Favré. Salobre has also hosted major tournaments, including the 2006 Spanish PGA. For practice and improvement, the resort features a Golf Academy, a Practice Mile for long- and short-game work at sunset, and Trackman for swing and ball-flight analysis.
