About this course:
Saddleworth Golf Club is a characterful 18-hole course with a classic MacKenzie layout. Dr. Alister MacKenzie designed the 18-hole course in 1913, while the club itself was formed in May 1904 and had a 9-hole course since 1904. This rich history is still felt, especially at the 5th green, considered one of the original MacKenzie greens. The course demands precision and shotmaking, rewarding thoughtful play with beautiful views over the Pennines and Saddleworth villages. Practice facilities include tees with natural lies and a chipping green. The Golf Studio with simulator and indoor range, along with the lounge, bar, and snooker room in the clubhouse, complete the club.
