Northcliffe Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole parkland course near Shipley, designed by James Braid. The course is known for its wide fairways and a mix of beautiful and demanding holes. Depending on the tee, playing distances range from 5321 to 6086 yards, with par varying by color, making it suitable for golfers of different levels. The club was founded in 1921, starting with nine holes on the Moorhead course. In 1922, James Braid and Harry Vardon were involved in expanding to another nine holes. Visitors can enjoy a clubhouse, a terrace overlooking the 18th green, and the option to play with electric buggies.
