Morecambe Golf Course is an 18-hole course by Dr Alister MacKenzie, featuring a distinctive mix of seaside influences and primarily parkland golf character. The course demands precision, with long par fours and well-defended greens challenging golfers to keep their game sharp. The result is a round that rewards technique and strategy. Morecambe Golf Club's history goes far back. The club celebrated its centennial in 2005, moved to its current location in 1923, and got a modern clubhouse in 1924. Later expansions and renovations followed, including a refurbishment of the main areas in 2019. Mackenzie's signature is visible on several holes, with the 18th green as a striking finale.
