About this course:

Marine Golfclub Nieuwediep is a 9-hole course with a distinct links-like character near Den Helder, next to Maritiem Vliegkamp De Kooy. Designed by Alan Rijks in 1994/1995, the layout features narrow fairways, high rough, water hazards, bushes and plenty of bunkers, all intensified by the often strong wind. It looks open and straightforward, but rewards precision and thoughtful club selection, making every round a genuine test for golfers who enjoy true links conditions. After the round, the clubhouse offers warm and cold drinks, along with cakes and sweets. The club is maintained by enthusiastic volunteers, and the practice facilities include two ball-hitting cages, a putting green, a chipping green, a practice bunker and an allowed practice area beside hole 9.
