About this course:

Kingsbarns Golf Links is a classic Scottish links course set along the North Sea coast, about 7 miles from St Andrews. Designed by Kyle Phillips, it combines sweeping sea views, undulating coastal ground and traditional links features such as sandy soil, fine fescue turf and rolling seaside contours. Each hole plays close to the water, creating a round that rewards accuracy and adaptability in changing coastal conditions. With roots dating back to 1793, Kingsbarns blends historic golfing ground with a modern layout that has become a respected stage for major events, including the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and the Ricoh Women’s British Open. It is a memorable links experience shaped by its dramatic setting and long golfing heritage.
