About this course:

Halifax Golf Club offers a challenging moorland golf experience beneath the dramatic Pennine Hills. Founded in 1895 and shaped by James Braid and Dr Alister MacKenzie, the 18-hole, par 70 course stretches over 6,300 yards. The terrain's elevation changes often make it play longer than its yardage suggests. The front nine demands precision and endurance with long doglegs, streams, and uphill approaches. The back nine focuses on smart course management with split fairways, blind tee shots, and two well-designed par 5s offering real scoring chances. Highlights include the MacKenzie par-3 2nd hole with a raised green and the spectacular downhill 17th with about 60-foot elevation drop.
