Golfplatz Poppenreut of Golf- und Landclub Bayerwald is an 18-hole, par 72 course in the Bavarian Forest, set among meadows and woods. From the first tee, you can see Hintereben, Jandelsbrunn, and Wollaberg, with local church towers as landmarks. The course features well-manicured fairways and spacious playing areas but requires precise play from both beginners and experienced golfers. Good practice facilities are available on and around the course, including a driving range with partially covered tees, a putting and chipping green, and practice bunkers, making it ideal for training and improving short game skills.
