About this course:
Golfclub Emstal e.V. is an 18-hole golf course in the Ems landscape, founded in 1977. The course developed from an original 9-hole concept on leased land around Gut Beversundern/Altenlingen into a full 18-hole course opened in the late 1990s. The course has a distinct natural character: the first 9 holes are shaped by old Ems arms, forest strips, and the river course, while the second 9 holes feature biotopes, wide ditches, and large sand bunkers. After the round, the clubhouse is a pleasant place to stay, with a bar, a large event room, and terraces right by the 1st tee with views of the 18th green. For training, the club has a driving range and pitching and putting greens, while the golf academy guides beginners step by step towards the 18 holes.
