About this course:
Golfclub Liemeer is a compact but challenging golf course in the Green Heart, in Nieuwveen in the municipality of Nieuwkoop, within easy reach of the Randstad. It offers two course options: the Torenbaan with 18 holes and the Bovenlandenbaan with 9 holes, giving golfers the choice between a full round and a shorter game on a course that still asks for accurate shot-making.
The club began with the initiative of three local golfers and officially started in July 2006. The first 9 holes opened in August 2007, followed by the second 9 holes a year later. Between rounds, the De Heeren van Liemeer restaurant looks out over the course, while practice is supported by a summer driving range and green facilities.
