About this course:
Golf Río Real is an 18-hole course designed by Javier Arana and opened in 1965, set in a distinctive location near Marbella. The layout follows the Río Real river down to the Mediterranean Sea, creating a scenic coastal-fluvial setting framed by pines, palms, casuarinas, olives and cypresses. Its Mediterranean climate helps shape a sheltered, enjoyable playing experience throughout the year.
Played as a par 72 over more than 6,000 metres, the course offers a varied challenge for a wide range of golfers, with holes from higher positions and a design that asks players to use every club in the bag. Golf Río Real also features a golf academy, a clubhouse with views over the course, and practical facilities including buggy and club hire.
