Golf at The Hawthorn is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Christy O’Connor Jnr. Set beside Galway Bay, it offers sweeping views across the Wild Atlantic Ocean, The Burren and Galway City, while the layout extends to 7,300 yards from the back tees.
Rolling terrain, sculpted green complexes and well-kept fairways create a round that asks for strategy and precision, with the Atlantic wind shaping play throughout the course. Iconic hawthorn trees add to the character of the setting, and the seaside location gives each hole its own challenge and reward.
