About this course:
Golfbaan Duurswold is a 9-hole golf course in Steendam, designed in 2007 by Jol Golfdesign for the Groningse Golfclub Duurswold. Known as one of the most difficult and challenging courses in the Netherlands, it calls for straight ball striking, smart course management and tactical decision-making. Multiple doglegs, strategic bunkers and (lateral) water hazards shape a layout that rewards positional play, wind awareness and accurate approaches. Seasonal conditions can also change the challenge from round to round.
Alongside the main course, Duurswold offers a modern floodlit driving range, two practice greens with eight practice holes in total, and a 6-hole par-3 course for short practice sessions and introductions to the game. The club also hosts events such as NGF Familiedag.
