Duddingston Golf Course cover

About this course:

Duddingston Golf Course, part of Duddingston Golf Club, lies at the foot of Arthur’s Seat, near Edinburgh city center. This 18-hole parkland course was mainly designed by Willie Park Jr. and later updated by James Braid. The open landscape, mature trees, rolling greens, and the Braid Burn, which comes into play on 14 holes, give the course a varied and challenging character. Elevation changes and some blind tee shots make the back nine especially interesting for golfers. The club, founded in 1895, has a rich competitive history. Duddingston hosted Optical Express Scottish PGA Tour events from 2012 to 2014 and is linked to Scottish Amateur history around Ronnie Shade.
