About this course:
Downes Crediton Golf Club is located on the historic Downes Estate, on the edge of Crediton, about 5 miles from Exeter. The 18-hole parkland course is known for its tree-lined and challenging character, where precision and control are important. The course offers a round that challenges both low and high handicappers and fits well into the estate's landscape. The club has a history dating back to 1972, when the initiative started. In 1976, the course was officially opened with an exhibition featuring Ryder Cup stars Neil Coles and Tommy Horton. Besides the clubhouse with restaurant and bar, Downes Crediton also has a Swing Studio and a Pro Shop.
