About this course:
Clitheroe Golf Course is a classic parkland course designed by James Braid, located in the Ribble Valley on the edge of the historic market town of Clitheroe. The 18-hole course is relatively flat and easy to walk, emphasizing straight tee shots. During your round, enjoy wide views of the Longridge and Waddington fells, with Stonyhurst College and the medieval Mitton Church as distinctive landmarks in the landscape. The club was founded in 1891 and moved to its current location in 1932 with a full 18-hole layout. Additional holes were added in 1965. Clitheroe is also a trusted venue for tournaments and qualifying events, including England Golf and Lancashire Golf championships. For players wishing to practice, there are multiple practice areas, a covered driving range, teaching bay, swing room, and short game facilities.
