Bute Golf Club on Bute Island offers a charming nine-hole Kingarth course by Stravannan Bay. With The Sleeping Warrior on Arran as backdrop, it’s a characterful seaside course of about 4,994 yards, par 68, demanding smart play. Notable challenges include the tricky second over the wall, the burn on the short third, and hillocks at the eighth. Established in 1888, it’s one of the island’s oldest courses.
