About this course:
Bungay & Waveney Valley Golf Club is on Bungay Common, near the village, where the River Waveney forms a horseshoe loop around the course. This inland heathland course has a natural sandy base with excellent drainage, making it playable year-round. The landscape features gorse, pine, and birch, with views over nearby farmland and heath, plus spring color from blooming broom. The course demands precision off the tee and careful approach shots, as the small, well-protected greens leave little room for error. Since 1889, the club has been part of the Association of James Braid Courses. The spacious grounds offer a peaceful playing experience with abundant local wildlife.
