About this course:

Bothwell Castle Golf Club is an 18-hole course set in mature woodland, about 10 miles from Glasgow city center. It offers a classic golf experience with short to mid-length holes, varied layouts, and multiple tees. From the men's tees, the course rating is 70.40 with a slope of 124, allowing golfers to fine-tune club selection and play. Founded in 1922 and officially opened on June 16, 1923, by the Earl of Home, the clubhouse was rebuilt after a 2002 fire at a new location closer to the course's heart. Training includes an indoor Trackman facility. In 2014, the club hosted the Scottish Under 14’s Open Championship for boys and girls.
