Blakes Golf Course in Essex is an 18-hole inland links-style championship course designed for golfers who enjoy a challenging and varied round. Thanks to its unique drainage system and USGA-standard sand base under tees and greens, the course is playable year-round. Wind, bunkers, shrubbery, slopy rough, and multiple water hazards frequently come into play, requiring precision and courage. A standout hole is the short par 3 on hole 8, featuring an island green surrounded by water. The closing holes add excitement, including the long par 5 on hole 15. After the round, the modern clubhouse offers a bar, the View Bar with views over the Essex countryside, and meals and snacks.
