About this course:
Balnagask Golf Course lies at Aberdeen Harbour's mouth, with the North Sea as a backdrop. This coastal 18-hole course offers views along the coast, over the harbour, and towards the city, in a naturally undulating landscape with hidden fairways, elevated tees, and gorse-lined ravines. The course demands courage, rhythm, and balance, featuring a distinct links-like character fitting its surroundings. Designed partly by James Braid, Archie Simpson, and the Hawtree family, the round passes historic landmarks like Girdleness Lighthouse and Torry Battery, adding atmosphere and character. It's a notable municipal course where location and history are as significant as the game itself.
