About this course:
Army Golf Course is an 18-hole course on 165 acres of gently rolling woodland between Farnborough and Aldershot. The course has a mature, challenging character: mostly flat terrain with beautifully shaped fairways lined by mature trees and rhododendrons. The three par 3s provide a tough test, and at 6,629 yards from the purple tees, it offers real length. Multiple tees—purple, white, yellow, red, and blue—make it playable at various levels. The layout dates from the 1960s with natural features like ditches with regiment insignia bridges and frequent deer sightings. Hole 1 runs along the Basingstoke Canal, hole 15 is the signature hole with a stream between revetted banks, and hole 18 features a rebuilt two-tier green. Established over 140 years ago, Army Golf Course is known for its warm, friendly welcome.
