About this course:
Amsterdam Old Course lies close to the centre of Amsterdam and has been part of Dutch golf since 1935. This 9-hole course has a classic Colt, Alison & Morisson design, later restored and adjusted under the direction of architect Frank Pont. Its historic thatched-roof clubhouse adds to the traditional club atmosphere, while the layout brings in railway-related features, hills and water to create a round with constant decision-making.
Here, precision and smart club selection matter more than distance alone. Narrow fairways, doglegs and greens with sharp hazards demand careful play, and wind can be a real factor on holes along the dikes and around the railway viaduct. For practice, the club offers a driving range and a Golf Academy with professionals Andrew Hastie and Jacqueline Kooiman.
