Wells Golf Club

Wells Golf Club, founded in 1893, is located on the edge of historic Wells in the Mendip Hills. This 18-hole parkland course combines rolling woodland fairways with wide views, featuring a two-level layout for variety. Holes 2 to 11 wind around hills with scenic views, then the course continues along the valley where accurate drives are key. With par 70 and SSS 69, Wells offers a varied challenge. Highlights include the short dog-leg par 4 12th from an elevated tee to a double green by the clubhouse, and the tricky par 5 13th with a ditch crossing the fairway twice. The modern clubhouse with bar and dining, plus practice facilities including a driving range and chipping green, complete the experience.
