North 103rd Avenue 4220, 85037 Phoenix, US
Villa de Paz Golf Course is a traditional parkland course in west Phoenix, one of the oldest 18-hole courses in this part of the city. Built in the early 1970s and remodeled in 2002, it features 18 holes with par 72 over about 6,700 yards. Water comes into play on 10 holes, and mature trees along many fairways provide character and summer shade. The course demands varied and thoughtful play, challenging both beginners and experienced golfers. Hole 4 is a long par 5 with a sharp dogleg right, while holes 7, 8, and 15 are par 4s that long hitters can attack from the tee. The round ends spectacularly on hole 18, a 470-yard par 4 with a dogleg right and a second shot over a lake to a three-tiered green. For preparation, there is a two-level driving range, targeted practice areas, and a lesson area with PGA professionals.
