Toka Sticks Golf Course is one of Arizona's oldest courses, designed in the early 1950s by the Army Corps of Engineers. Managed by the Gila River Indian Community, it offers golfers of all levels a traditional, atmospheric experience. Play over flat fairways lined with mature eucalyptus, mesquite, palm, and palo verde from tee to green. Overhanging branches and trees shape strategy on many holes, with doglegs and small, elevated greens with tiered complexes demanding accuracy. Four holes feature water, including two par 3s. The putting surfaces are known for being smooth and fast. There is also a practice facility with PGA professional instruction and a clubhouse with the Bombardier Grille and a covered patio with views.
