Hall Road West, L23 8SZ Liverpool
The West Lancashire Golf Club, founded in 1873, is a classic links course near Liverpool. Designed by C K Cotton, it spans about 200 acres with two loops of nine holes, the 9th and 18th greens near the clubhouse. From the tee, precision is required, starting with a par-4 dogleg that sets the tone. The mix of demanding holes, including a sharp par 3 on hole 12 and the elevated view from the 13th tee, keeps the round challenging.
