The Shire London

The Shire London is a distinctive golf course near London, designed by Severiano Ballesteros, his only UK course. The Ballesteros Masters Course has 18 holes: six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s, with no two consecutive holes sharing the same par. It blends links-style holes, stadium-style Tour golf, and traditional parkland, featuring challenging water hazards and over 10,000 mature trees. Since opening in 2007, it also offers a 9-hole Academy Course with shorter par 3s and 4s. The clubhouse has a stylish, casual atmosphere, complemented by a driving range, putting green, and short game area. The course entertains and challenges, exemplified by the S-shaped water hazard on hole 18.
