NP25 5HT Monmouth
The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club is a 6,733-yard championship course opened in 1982, set in the beautiful countryside near historic Monmouth. The course lies at the confluence of the Wye and Monnow rivers, offering wide views of the Welsh hills. You play through parkland with streams and lakes, over rolling fairways to challenging greens that demand precision due to their location and undulations. The atmosphere is steeped in history, with strong ties to the Hendre Estate and the Charles Stewart Rolls mansion as a central point. Golfers receive a warm welcome and can also visit the golf studio for coaching. In 1982, Tony Jacklin and Greg Norman brought extra attention to the course; Norman even called the four short holes "fantastic."
