The Loop (Red)

The Loop (Red) is a reversible links-style course designed by Tom Doak, offering a routing that creates a true maze-of-golf feel as players follow small flags across changing hole sequences. Played counter-clockwise, the Red course moves from the right of the 18th green and works toward the red flags on the horizon before eventually returning to the 18th. Firm, fast turf encourages a low, controlled game, with memorable tests such as the deceptive opening par 4 into a valley and greens that demand precision throughout. Standout holes include the par-3 4th with its left-tilting green, the short 6th played over a natural bowl of native grasses, and the par-5 13th, where an oak tree can affect the approach if the tee shot is not shaped left. Practice facilities and the Hilltop putting course add to the experience, and the clubhouse provides a casual finish to the round.
