The Kittansett Club is an 18-hole golf course on a peninsula at Butler Point, at the end of Buzzards Bay. The course has a distinct seaside character and is situated on New England terrain with glacial stone; the added mounds cover large boulders and, together with the fairways and greens, provide excellent drainage. Recent redesigns by Gil Hanse have made the course more open, with greater sea views and a larger role for the wind in course strategy.
