The Derby Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole championship course in a prairie setting with a unique 'split personality'. It blends open links-style holes with wooded inland course features, offering variety each round. Designed by Lyndy Lindsey, it features bentgrass greens, zoysia/bermuda fairways, and zoysia tees. Four tee sets accommodate all levels, with course rating and slope ensuring a challenging yet accessible experience. Natural hazards include a pond by the start, creek crossings, and tough bunkers. The long par 4 by the 15-acre lake is the signature hole. The spacious clubhouse and practice facilities provide a pleasant end to a round on this versatile course.
