Country Road 22, 33436 Village of Golf
The Country Club of Florida is an 18-hole golf course in a club setting in southern Florida. Opened in 1956, it was extensively remodeled by Arthur Hills in 1987, preserving the original creative routing. A second renovation led by Lester George in 2006 expanded ponds and water features, increased bunkers to 83, and enhanced the course with wide natural views. The nine-hole structure contributes to the course's character, maintaining the same order of par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes. The club has a strong tournament history, hosting events like the 1958 Western Amateur Championship, 1960 National Mixed Foursome Championship, and 1963 USGA Senior Women’s Amateur Championship.
