The Brookwoods Golf Club, opened in 1976, is the first golf course in New Kent County. The 18 holes offer a varied round with five par-fives, five par-threes, and eight par-fours, each hole having its own character. The design emphasizes the greens: slopes and rolls make play around the green and putting extra challenging. Doglegs guide play, while the narrow, tree-lined fairways and several water hazards demand accuracy. The 34 strategically placed bunkers, including Scottish sod wall bunker faces, also contribute to the course's character.
