Lomada Tecina, C. Playa Santiago, 38811 Tecina, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spanje
Tecina Golf is an 18-hole course on the south coast of La Gomera, set on the hill of Lomada de Tecina and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Designed by British architect and writer Donald Steel, it opens with an uphill approach to the first tee before unfolding downhill through the round, creating a distinctive playing rhythm. At 6,343 metres from the white tees, the par-71 layout combines challenge with memorable scenery, as fairways and greens are framed by native Canary Island vegetation and views that bring Mount Teide into focus. The course suits experienced golfers while remaining accessible to beginners, with an academy to support learning and progression. Practice facilities include a driving range, a chipping green with a bunker, and a putting green, and the sea-view terrace provides a relaxed setting after the round.
