Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club is an 18-hole course with a rolling, strategic character and wide views over the Somerset Blackdown and Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels, Taunton Racecourse, and Glastonbury Tor. The landscape gives the course a unique look: part lies on former 19th-century limestone workings, creating a links-like feel and varied fairways with natural elevation changes. Precision and smart positioning are key on the course. Trees, well-placed bunkers, and greens with sometimes tricky false fronts demand attention on every shot. The famous “Pickeridge Bounce” makes accurate reading of the course extra important. After the round, the clubhouse with terrace offers a pleasant place to relax.
