Tanglewood Golf Course is a historic public championship golf course designed by William F. Mitchell, completed in 1967. The 18-hole par 72 course lies in the rolling hills of the Tanglewood Lake Development and offers a playful mix of strategic challenge and playability, with distances from about 5,100 to 7,050 yards. Bent grass tees and fairways, smooth greens, strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and tree-lined fairways give the course a varied and well-maintained character. Tanglewood has a true golf history and has hosted PGA and LPGA tour events. For practice, there are practice greens, a driving range, and a TrackMan simulator, complemented by coaching from PGA pros. The clubhouse and accessible yet competitive nature make Tanglewood Golf Course suitable for both a round with friends and a serious golf appointment.
