Stapleford Abbotts - Priors Golf Course

Stapleford Abbotts – Priors Golf Course is an elegant 18-hole PGA Championship course that opened in 1989. Its inviting but demanding layout offers plenty of variety from tee to green, with undulating fairways, mature woodlands, water features, bunkers and ponds all shaping the challenge. Golfers of every level can expect a course that rewards smart shot-making and careful control throughout the round. Recent investment has helped make the course playable all year round, supported by improved drainage and very rarely used temporary greens. With buggy paths around all 18 holes, the course remains manageable in winter, while the active Men’s and Ladies’ sections and regular senior meetings give it a welcoming club atmosphere.
